ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes

MINOR FOOTBALL:
This coming Sunday March 4th will see the Minor Footballers begin their championship quest with a home game against Mount Sion at 11:30am. Come along and support the lads.

MEMBERSHIP:
With the playing season shortly upon us, it’s that time of the year again with the membership now due for both Adults and Juveniles. We would ask all players to pay their membership as soon as possible. Adults €70. Student/Unwaged/Associated member €30. For the Juvenile section, its €30 for the first child and €10 for each additional child.

UNDER 8 HURLING:
Last Saturday morning our Under 8 hurlers made the trip to Ballygunner to participate in the blitz. The team played three games on the day against De La Salle, Ballygunner and Stradbally; winning all three games. Well done to all, and the hard work in training is beginning to pay off.

ANGELA BURNS 10K:
The Angela Burns Memorial 10K Fun Run / Walk will take place on Sunday 22nd April at 11am from the Ferrybank GAA grounds. Entries are now been taken on http://www.totaltiming.ie/event/angela-burns-memorial-10k-2018/. Its €15 for runners (chipped) and €10 for the walkers.

COUNTY DUTY:
Well done to Mark O' Brien who was part of the Waterford Senior hurling team that recorded a good win over Cork last Sunday. Also, Iona Heffernan and Niamh Ahearne were on the Waterford Senior Camogie team that drew with Limerick last Sunday afternoon, well done girls.

DÉISE DRAW:
The Déise Draw 2018 will once again commence in May and will continue for six months, with each draw costing €15. It’s the same format as last year, with 20 cash prizes up for grabs each month, and we would ask everyone associated with the club to support this draw.

GAELIC FOR MOTHERS & OTHERS:
Training continues this coming Monday night at 8pm in the Ferrybank GAA grounds, involving Mothers & Others to learn and play Ladies Gaelic Football. It’s fun football for past players and beginners. You need to be over 18 years of age and not a registered player. This is a great concept, and everyone is welcome to come along, and enjoy a fun filled night.

CÚL CAMP:
The Cúl Camp will take place in the Ferrybank GAA grounds from August 13th-17th.

CLOTHES COLLECTION:
